Study of Albrecht Durer's "The Hare," - 11"x14" on suede board - A commission

First, I begin with the hare's face

Next, I add the ears

AFter the ears, I start on the hare's chest

I add the front paws and begin working my way back

Starting on the hare's back and hind paw

Amost done! Lots of tweaking left to do though.

Finished!!

The beginning - the all important eyes

Nose and fur added

Mouth and nose finished

Neck area started

Shoulder, legs, and chest begun

Completed Tiger
